The Heirs, the one trying to wear the crown
Who doesn't know Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye? These two famous Korean actors now playing into new Korean drama called The Heirs. Since aired in SBS 9th October, this drama was success all over the world. I started to like it since my fave idol and also drummer of CNBLUE, Kang Minhyuk plays one of main character. He plays for Yoon Chan-Young's character, son of Jeguk group's secretary, Eunsang's bff (lead actress) and also Lee Bona's boyfriend. As usual, I adore him so much!
By the waayy..I wanna give u short synopsis about The Heirs it self. The series follows a group of privileged, rich, elite high school
students as they are groomed to take over their families' business
empires. These wealthy students seem to have everything under control,
except their love lives. Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho)
is the heir to the Empire Group sent to study abroad in the U.S. In
reality it's a form of exile, as his elder half-brother back home (Choi Jin-hyuk) schemes to take over the family business.
While in the States, Kim Tan bumps into Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye),
who has arrived from Korea in search of her older sister. He feels
himself falling for her, never realizing that she's the daughter of his
family's housekeeper. When his fiancée, Rachel Yoo (Kim Ji Won),
arrives to bring him back to Korea, his heart is torn between love and
duty. Meanwhile, Rachel's stepbrother and Kim Tan's former best friend,
Choi Young Do (Kim Woo-bin)
develops his own feelings for Cha Eun Sang. Kim Tan then realizes that
he has developed his feelings for Eun Sang, and Young Do, at the same
time.
It's already episode 12, but honestly it becoming so boring since there's no significant progress between the leads. And I started to dislike Eunsang's character lately. I know she's in love with KimTan but she's too scared to fight her love. She gives same act and expression in every episode. No act, just play safe because her poor background. Meanwhile KimTan tried his best to proove to Eunsang how much he loves her, how sad!. I think the director is dragging out the love scenes, with them just
looking at each other for far to long, it slow the story down, i am
starting to get annoyed with it now.
The plots of story was really good at the first time. When KimTan was realize his feeling to Eunsang when they were in US. When the scenes just focus on their love lives with fabolous United State's background. It seems so natural and casual, not like this..too much conflicts, fights and every characters seems tries to shout out their problems.
However, I still love this drama. So far so good. I hope there's significant progress between they two. Wish that Eunsang has more courage to fight together with KimTan. Yeah I'm more addicted to The Heirs, not only because of Minhyuk but the whole story, it's really worth to watch, trust me :)
